In the team van on the way to Tybee Island. The theme of most of these photos is “Laura Gone Wild”. The theme of this van ride was “No Calorie Left Uneaten” – we collectively ate throughout the entire 4-hour drive and stopped for dinner. Stopping to refuel. You can’t take us anywhere. This is the third time on this drive that the bucket of bike-washing supplies flew out the back of the van and shattered on the ground. This time, the full cooler crashed down on top of the bucket and we all lost our shit and exploded into hysterical laughter. Laura was laughing the hardest and then got a little concerned about the side effects. Team Colavita out for a pre-race spin. Or not, as it would appear. Leaving a trail of insanity wherever we go. Last night at the hotel, we were shushed by the on-duty manager, who asked Jordan, “How old are they?! They sound like high-schoolers.” Laura, never letting an opportunity to be sassy pass her by. I don’t always stop in a coffee shop to play guitar mid-ride, but when I do, I wear gloves and a helmet.
FYI…I am wearing bathing suit bottoms. But yes, I am choosing not to wear the shorts I am holding in my left hand.
Fun on the road. Batten down the hatches.
